BrainSync is an Android notes and reminders app. It does collect data so your notes can sync. No ads. No sale of personal information.

What we collect

Anonymous Firebase account ID (required to sync)
Notes you create (text, tags, folders, reminders)
Optional image or file attachments
Voice capture: speech is turned into text; we store the text, not the recording
Device / Firebase identifiers needed for Auth and sync

Where it goes

Google Firebase Authentication — anonymous ID
Firebase Realtime Database — your notes and reminders
Firebase Cloud Storage — attachments you add
Encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
Firebase acts as our service provider; we do not sell or share data for ads

On your device

Local cache of notes and app settings
Optional App Lock uses your device PIN / biometrics locally
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local data

Permissions

Internet — sync
Microphone — optional voice notes
Camera — optional OCR
Notifications & exact alarms — reminders
Battery / OEM settings — optional, for reliable alarms

What we don’t collect

Email, name, or password (no Google Sign-In)
Location, contacts, SMS, health, or payment data
Advertising ID, analytics, or crash reporters

Your choices

Delete notes, empty trash, or delete all memories in Settings
Export / import a JSON copy on your device
Revoke permissions in Android Settings
Uninstall removes local data; use in-app delete to clear cloud notes
